CCTV9英语新闻：专家给出安全预防措施以防震后灾难

　　国土资源部已经发布了紧急公告，以帮助公众学习如何应对震后的潜在灾难。

　　Officials cautioned that Minxian, Zhanxian, Zhuoni, and Lixian counties and other surrounding areas lie in a high incidence zone. Officials warned local residents and rescuers to pay attention to aftershocks and heavy rain. Experts also advised people to stay in open areas following a disaster and wait to be rescued.

　　官方对岷县，岾县，卓尼和澧县以及周边这些处于地震高发区的地区进行了预警提醒。

　　Cui Ying, senior official of Ministry of Land & Resources, said, "The safest place is where there are no high mountains, no valleys, no slopes and no gravel². You should stay in a relatively³ flat and open space."

　　国土资源部的高级官员崔颖表示，“最安全的地方是那些没有高山，没有河谷，没有坡面以及砾石的地方。人们应该待在相对平坦空旷的地方。”

　　The official also said people should pay more attention to weather forecasts and abide⁴ by the arrangemets by local authorities. Other advices included staying away from steep areas following heavy rain, and reporting falling debris⁵.

　　该官员还表示，人们应该多留意天气预报并遵从当地政府的安排。这些建议还包括远离陡峭区域以防房屋等碎片掉落伤人。
