Recently, a small litter of panda cubs¹ were born in the city of Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.

During this hot summer, a few specially-made ice cones² with fresh apples inside have been made to help the cubs beat the heat, but it seems it has also provoked a little competition as well.

Despite being very hot, these panda cubs are still trying to master the art of tree climbing, but it seems luck isn’t on their side. To keep these fluffy³ cubs cool, ten big houses have been built, fully⁴ equipped with air conditioning. Hopefully they’ll get through this summer without breaking a sweat.
 尽管天气炎热，这些熊猫崽们仍然试图掌握爬树技能，但是似乎还不得要领。为使这些毛茸茸的小幼崽保持凉爽，动物园修建了10套装有空调的房子。希望他们可以度过一个凉爽的夏天。
