Teens React to viral videos, This Episode: Facebook Parenting

This is for my daughter hanna, and more importantly for all her friends on facebook who thought that her little rebellious1 post is cute. Oh, I see this. This is the best thing ever, i wish more parents would do this. I wanna read you one. I took off my daughter's facebook wall. She thought she's being smart, blocking her parents be unable to see it. To my parents: I'm not your damn slave, it's not my responsibility to clean up your *shit*. Seriously? Are you kidding me. Everyday when I get home from school, I had to do dishes, clean the countertops, all the floors, make all the beds, do laundry, and get the trash. I'm gonna hate to see the day, when you get too old to wipe your ass2, and you call me asking for help, I won't be there.

That is so mean. I warned you a month ago, what would happen, if you do something like this on facebook again, gonna be a lot worse. I don't know how to say how disappointed I am at you. But as soon as I'm done, I'm gonna post this on your facebook wall. Here it comes. That right there is your laptop. This right here is my .45. Oh my gosh! He's going to work. Hope you enjoy your little fiasco on facebook, hope it's worth all this. That was awesome3! That was scary. Why does he even have a gun? What...ok, ask me the questions please.

Question Time

So, can you explain what was happening in the video? A girl was really disrespectful to her parents wrote a really nasty note on facebook about her family. Dad found out and he got mad, cause apparently4 happened before. Then he got out his gun and thought kill the computer. I know how to shoot a gun, I'll do that to my kids one day. Was he right for him to shoot the laptop? No, he should like gone to her. No, shooting the laptop is too far. There is nothing justify5 about that. That was the best part. It was just like the cherry on top. If he bought it for her, I guess you can shot the things you buy.

Does she have rights to be upset, base on what she mentioned on the letter? Will they justifiable6 things to be mad her parents about? Honestly, yea, that's like a lot of crap she has to go though. I don't think so. she has trolls, big deal, it's just typical things you do at your home. You kinda clean up after yourself. As long as her father keeping her in a little cabin under the stairs. Teen age girls seem to overreact everything. Whatever happened to the time when you suppost to respectful to you parents? You didn't complain when they tell you to do your stuff. You didn't, I'm being really hypocriteright here.

Do you think it's ok for her to post that on facebook at all? No, I think that's really immatureof her to do. I would never post anything about my home life or my personal life on facebook. Because facebook isn't my diary. That's what social media does, you think you can say anything. Cause you behind the computer screen, she's gonna be careful. Cause obviously her dad can see it.

Do you think it's right for the dad to post this on her facebook wall? Absolutely not. I would say so, after what she wrote, yes. So many kids I feel like taking advantage of their parents. He actually did something, I feel kinda respect for this guy. How do you think the daughter reacted when she saw this video? She probably lost it. I bet she's freaking out. I would be histrionic/ I kinda wanna be there when she saw that on her wall. I won't be surprised if she's like killed herself or sth. I know that's like really really intense. Although how would she see it through, if she didn't have her laptop. That's sth to think about.

Do you think she'll learn her lesson from this? I hope she would have. Yea, definitely. No, probably not. Not one bit. She probably do it again, she's a kid. we made the same mistake over over again. I think when you put restriction7 on people, all they gonna do is try to break the restriction. What would you do if your parents punish you by putting bullets in your laptop? I think I'll laugh. I'll be so bummed8 out. I'll be like, seriously dad? What the hell? I'll go on the biggest non-talking spree ever. I have 3 brothers, we all have own computers. I'll take my brother's computer, I'll be like get away. I'll call police, say my parents just went crazy. I need somewhere else to go.

Do you think parents should able to see what their kids do on social network? If the kids doing sth they shouldn't, they don't wanna their parents to see then. Maybe they shouldn't be posting it at all. No,you should let them to live to the certain extend. That's invasion of privacy, they should trust us. No, they parents shouldn't see it. But then again if you add your mom, it's your own fault. Do you let your parents have access to your facebook? I'm friends with my mom on my facebook. My mom has facebook, I'm friends with her on facebook, she starts commenting on my pictures, it's so embarrassing, it's terrible, I delete my mom as a friend. I block dad couple of weeks ago. I blocked my mom, my dad doesn't has a facebook, cause he's old, doesn't know how to do it. I love you dad, probably gonna ground after this.

How do you think parents react when they see this video? I think parents can relate to that feeling. Probably like kids are so disrespectful nowadays. They always say, honey, you can talk to me whenever you need to, I'll be there to listen. No! parents, they do not listen to you. It's either their way or the highway. I feel like, the liberal parents they'll like, oh god! The poor child. But if you like republican, they'll like, yeah! Do you think it's a possibility there's gonna be influxes9 of parents destroy their children's property for punishment? Probably, probably in the south. It's gonna cause like endless cycle of disaster. The parents gonna be gun toting all the time, so what if you piss them off one day, they'll be like...

How do you think teens react? I get it, that was very funny. That's me! I'm a teen, I react. 2 reactions. OMG! I feel so sorry. Or, OMG! This is historical. Which will be my reaction. They probably sympathize with Hanna? Teens probably all on the girl's side. I'm not on the girl's side at all. I think a lot teens might think it's lame10. I think it's awesome! Does this video make you think twice about doing things online your parents might not approve of? Yes, absolutely. I already think that way, because my dad already come to me. He's like, Adam, we need to talk. No, it hasn't affected11 me at all. No, I'm still gonna do it. If the dad is here right now, what would you say to him? I love you. I'll give him the biggest, and best high five. I would say nothing to him, cause I don't know where that gun is? I would argue with him, he will probably take his gun to me. You're freaking nuts, you shot your daughter's laptop, you're paying for that, ok? You are awesome! My man! Rock!
