(单词翻译:单击)

Friday marks the 76th anniversary of the Nanjing massacre1. On December 13th, 1937, Japanese troops killed about 300,000 Chinese civilians2 and disarmed3 soldiers, after they captured the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing during World War II.

For more on the efforts of both Chinese and international peace organizations, we are joined live by our reporter Wu Lei in Nanjing.

Q1: Wu Lei. China has done a lot to help Chinese people remember what is called one of the darkest days in the country's history. Can you tell us more? And what have international peace organizations, especially Japanese ones done to respect this history?
