　　fill that position 直译为“填满了那个职位”，这个短语的真正意思是：“那个职位已经有人了。”因此，当美国人说"Unfortunately, we've already filled that position. "时，他要表达的意思就是：“It's a pity that the position has been occupied by someone eles.”、“I am sorry that someone had filled this vacant¹ position.”
