Chinese Premier1 Li Keqiang has arrived in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, on the last leg of his first African tour. The Chinese Premier is scheduled to hold talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta on strengthening bilateral2 ties as well as regional and international issues of common concern.

The two leaders are also expected witness the signing of about 20 bilateral cooperation deals and memoranda3 of understanding.

During his stay, Li is scheduled to meet officials from the UN Environment Program and the UN Human Settlements Program, visit a China-Kenya cooperative project with Kenya’s National Youth Service, and tour the Nairobi National Park.
