The city of Paris has opened its annual urban beach along the river Seine on Saturday, for tourists and locals to enjoy a bit of the seaside, right in the heart of the city.
Like every year, the beach is complete with palm trees, deck chairs and umbrellas, and spans over three kilometres through Paris.
The beach, called 'Paris Plages' also features activities for children - a big hit for Paris residents who are spending their summer holidays in the city.

"Paris Plages" is open until mid1 August. So there's nearly a month left for those who want to catch the fun in the sun.
