Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has welcome the visiting Sri Lankan Prime Minister at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. It's Ranil Wickremesinghe's first visit as prime minister to China, since Sri Lanka's new government was formed in January last year.
During the four day visit, he will be holding discussions with the Chinese leaders to advance bilateral relations. In 2015, bilateral trade between the two countries amounted to over 4 and half billion US dollars.
