The luxury home of one of the world's most famous sport stars, the scene of a bizarre sequence of events, now the subject of police inquiry. Just after two on Friday morning, 33-year-old Tiger Woods drove out of his house alone; his car first hit a fire hydrant then a tree. Police say his wife heard the crash and ran outside. "From where we stand his wife came out the house when she heard him, the accident, him hitting the fire hydrant, ohm...used a golf club... with which, we were told, to break out the rear window to get entrance to the vehicle. We moved him from the vehicle and laid him down on the street. That's how we are sent and came here." "Woods was then taken to the nearby health center hospital with minor injuries, mainly cuts to the face. He was admitted, treated and released today, in good condition, that's it. " The police report said alcohol was not a factor in the incident. The PGA star who earned an estimated 100 million dollars last year in prize money and endorsements is due to host the Cheveron world challenge next week in California which benefits his charity. "Anytime that you have someone of Tiger statue, someone of Tiger's, not just national, but international recognition, people are concerned, he's really become a real spokesperson, I think, for the PGA, and a lot of people really admire what he's been able to do.
