1. A spy swap may be in the works. US and Russian officials met Wednesday as indictments against eleven people accused of spying for Russia were unsealed in the U.S. Neither side will confirm a swap is in the works, but a lawyer for one of the accused thinks the case could be resolved as soon as today.

 

2. A bit of relief is in store for the East Coast. Temperatures today (are) only expected to be in the low to mid 90s. That's compared to triple-digit temps that were felt in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington in the past couple of days. Newark, New Jersey has hit 100 degrees for four days in a row.

 

3. Search continues for two passengers still missing after an amphibious sightseeing boat in Philadelphia was struck by a barge. The duck flipped over and sank. Thirty-seven people were on board, most were plucked from the Delaware River by other vessels.

 

4. Superstar LeBron James makes it official this evening, announcing where he will play as an NBA free agent. Speculation is James could sign with the Miami Heat and play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. James has spent his entire career with the Cleveland Cavaliers
