Send me Your Love __David Ausborn My love ,you asked what you can send me while I am on Crouse. Those things which I want but cannot get well on with the ship tousands miles away. The leaf is very easy to write. I suspect that wouldn't be so easy to fill the order. Please send me Autum,and the colors of fall,the yellows, reds and browns of leaves whose cycle of life has ended, packages with it-- the yelllow hearvest moon crouched in the naked branches of tree which has gone to its winter's sleep. Later you can send me Winter.Send me the first heavy snowfall that moulted magical silences, which comes down cross the land with the fat flakes of the plate quilkly.Don't forget the taste the snow flakes on my tongue or the dusting of snow crouched on your hair like dews. Send me a snowman, or even better, a snow family with the snow dady,snow mammy and little snow children with button eyes and stick forarms and carrorts for nouses. Send me an evening, in front fire place with hopes, dreams and flames. Send me a Chrisrmas tree. Send me that sleepless and anticipation of the night before the Christmas, when little angles are trying so hard to go to sleep, konwing in their hearts that the Santa would not come untill they sleep. Send me the excited shouts as little ones that get the first gleams of the piles of gifts left by Santa. Send the crinkle and tire of rupping paper ,and the woods and the archs of the punctual each gift as it expouse and show around. Send me the hugs as every one opens the gifts. That was just I want, spaced the packages, but send me all the changes of season ,all the day to day worries and joys, all the holidays that I would missed as I sit half way around the world from you .most of all, send me your thoughts and hopes, your dreams and wishes ,your smiles and tears.
