Victor: (He is skateboarding into a garden and heading for the table at which Mr. Dodge is working.) Yo, Mr. Dodge! Is Helen home?
Dodge: No, she's... Victor! Look out for my business papers!
Victor: (Knocks over the pile of papers on the table)
Dodge: If you don't pick up every paper by the time I'm off this phone, I'll have your skateboarding license revoked!
Victor: Uh... yes, sir!
(Dodge is talking on the phone.)
Dodge: Sorry about the interruption, Jeff! Did you say that you can't take me to the airport?
Jeff: (Over the phone) Right, sir! I'm miles away and the limo's got two flat tires!
Perhaps you can drive yourself in the rolls!
Dodge: I can't do that! I've got important work to do on the way there! I need a driver right now!
Victor: You do? Let me be your chauffeur, Mr. Dodge! I'm a great driver and I even know a shortcut to the airport!
Dodge: You? I wouldn't let you drive me to a pail of water if my pants were on fire!
Secretary: Pardon me, sir! But you must leave now if you wish to catch your flight overseas!
Victor: Give me a break, Mr. Dodge! I know I can get you there on time!
Dodge: And I know that I'm going to regret this...but okay!
Victor: Bingo! |
