3. Russia’s Mikhail Khodorkovsky was convicted today of stealing oil from his own company and laundering the proceeds. The oil tycoon once challenged the power of Vladimir Putin.
4. A Tel Aviv University team excavating a cave in central Israel said Monday they found teeth that are about 400,000 years old. The earliest Homo sapiens remains found until now are about half that old. |
