1. It's a slippery commute this morning in the Northeast. A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is leaving a layer of ice on roads from Washington to New York. Forecasters say Boston could get up to four inches of snow, and New Hampshire could see more than six inches of snow.
2. Police in Philadelphia have a man in custody as a person of interest in the strangling deaths of three women. Authorities say Antonio Rodriguez has not been charged in the deaths, but has been linked by DNA to the victims.
3. Tunisia has selected a new government, but protesters are still rioting in the capital. Police fired tear gas at about 200 demonstrators who are angry about members of the old guard participating in the new government.
4. The husband of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords says he is a forgiving person and doesn't blame the parents of the man accused of shooting his wife in the head. He also says Giffords' condition is improving. |
