1. Egypt's military leaders have met two key demands of anti-government protesters, dissolving parliament and suspending the constitution. After nearly three weeks of protests, President Hosni Mubarak resigned on Friday, leaving the military to be the government's temporary caretaker.

 

2. President Barack Obama will send his 2012 budget to Congress Monday, and he promised that it will balance spending on new initiatives with cuts to other programs. The administration is expected to propose more than $1 trillion in deficit reduction over the next decade with two thirds of that coming from spending cuts.

 

3. Spider-Man, the musical, hasn't had its official Broadway opening yet, but its list of troubles keep growing. According to the New York Times, the state Labor Department will now perform surprise safety inspections on the show - that after two well-publicized accidents last year left several performers injured.

 

4. The Royal love story between Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton has been turned into a comic book. They joined several other commemorative books, china plates and a coin on the market ahead of the couple's April 29th wedding.
