1. Yemen's president is blaming a foreign plot for 10 days of demonstrations calling for his ouster. Today, riot police in the capital fired on anti-government protesters, killing one and injuring five others.
2. An opposition leader in Bahrain says the crown prince's done the right thing by withdrawing security forces from the streets of the capital. Demonstrators have flooded back into the city's central Pearl Square, where they've been chanting victory and calling for the removal of the regime.
3. As Republicans have pushed through a bill that would cut 61 billion dollars from hundreds of domestic programs, top White House officials say the bill undermines economic growth and efforts to create jobs. President Barack Obama has threatened to veto it.
