[00:00.80]When the atmospheric concertrations
[00:03.16]of these gases increase, however,
[00:05.84]more heat is trapped and the Earth's

[00:46.85]has risen by more than 30%
[00:49.63]in the last 250 years with half
[00:52.68]of this increase occurring since 1960.
[00:56.53]Given this date,it seems that the link
[00:59.23]between human activities nad rising global
[01:02.58]temperatures cannot be denied.
[01:05.75]A temperature increase of 1°F
[01:09.12]sounds insignificant,
[01:11.36]but if we continue toproduce greenhouse gases
[01:14.77]in such huge quantities,
[01:17.13]we should expect severe consepuences.
[01:20.36]Recent repots from the Intergovernmental Panel
[01:23.09]on Climate Change(IPCC) warned
[01:27.44]that golbal warming will cause dramatic climate
[01:31.06]changes including more frequent floods,
[01:34.13]heat waves,and droughts.
