2. Secretary Of State Hillary Rodhamm Clinton says the death of the al-Qaeda mastermind behind the 1998 US Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania is a significant blow to the terrorist group. Fazul Abdullah Mohammed is killed this week by Somali forces. The Embassy bombings 13 years ago killed 224 people including 12 Americans.

3. The huge Arizona forest fire that’s claimed more than 30 homes could spread into New Mexico sometime today .The blaze has already blackened 639 square miles in eastern Arizona. Officials expect winds to pick up later today.

4. Boston Bruins' goalie Tim Thomas is giving a stellar performance in the net during the Stanley Cup finals. But it could go for naught. He has allowed just six goals in five games against Vancouver Canucks, but Boston faces elimination in Monday night’s Game Six.
