2. Crews in Iowa are hoping a temporary levee will hold back floodwaters of the Missouri River. If the levee fails, parts of Hamburg could be covered by as much as 10 feet of water within days.

3. Representative Anthony Weiner's pregnant wife, Huma Abedin, is back in the US after a trip to Africa with her boss, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. A fellow member of Weiner's New York Democratic delegation said she's heard from Weiner's friends that the congressman has been waiting for his wife to come home before making any decisions about his political future.

4. The "Spiderman" musical has opened on Broadway with a price tag of 70 million dollars. The show had been plagued by delays and accidents, and was completely reworked.
