Officials say they expect Greece will get the next 12-billion-Euro installment in July. Greece is facing a default that could cause finance chaos. 2. Syria's president says saboteurs are trying to exploit demands for a reform in the country. The comment came during what was just the third public address by President Bashar Assad since the country's uprising began in March. 3. Wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour having aided a raging wildfire in Arizona. But those winds are expected to die down today. The so-called monument fire has forced about 10,000 people from their homes. 4. Alyssa Campanella from California is America’s latest Miss USA. The 21-year-old from Los Angeles beat out 50 other hopefuls and will represent the United States at the Miss Universe competition in Brazil in September. |
