Good morning. Australia and China have put their diplomatic tensions aside to sign a record trade deal. Resource giant PetroChina has agreed to buy 50 billion dollars worth of liquefied natural gas from the yet-to-be developed Gorgon field off Western Australia. Trade Minister Simon Crean says the landmark deal is likely to open up other export opportunities in the region. A fourth person has been charged with the murder of Melbourne underworld figure Des Moran. 45-year-old Michael Farrugia is due to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court shortly. Detectives say he was allegedly seen on security footage, wearing the same clothes as someone holding a gun in a Melbourne cafe where Des Moran was shot. A vote could be held at earliest today on plans to lift Australia’s renewable energy target. The Government and the Opposition are negotiating on the bill to require Australia to source 20% of its energy from renewable sources. And Michael Jackson’s doctor has spoken out for the first time since the pop star’s death, thanking people for their support. In a video posted on YouTube, Conrad Murray who was the last person to see Michael Jackson alive says the truth will come out and he’s urged his supporters not to worry about him.
