首先介绍一个很漂亮的词：fabulous，意思是"好极了，棒极了"：
The blind date last weekend was fabulous. 上个周末的那次相亲棒极了。
The job you did was fabulous, I never expected you could make it, you're fabulous. 你的工作很出色，我从没料到你能完成这项工作，你确实很出色。
-What do you think of my new dress? 你觉得我的新裙子如何？
-it's fabulous; it's absolutely worth 1000 dollars. 太漂亮了，确实值1000块。
下面，进入我们本课的正题，有机会做某事：
有一个最简单的表达法是：have chance to do something
I hope I have the chance to meet you face to face one day. 我喜欢有机会某天和你面谈。
"Get to do something"是非常口语化的表达"有机会做某事"的表达法：
If you don't try it for yourself, you'll never get to develop yourself. 如果你不亲自尝试一下，你永远不会有机会提高你自己。
This morning, I was too busy to get to talk to you. 今天早上，我太忙了以至于没机会和你说上两句话。
If I get to know him, I'll make him fall in love with me. 如果有机会让我认识他，我肯定能让他爱上我。
I've been working so hard in order to get to be promoted. 我一直很努力地工作为的是能有机会升职。
You'll never get to hurt me again, I won't let you. 你不会有机会再次伤害我了，我不会让你这么做。
