A 20-year-old man has been charged with the murder of an eight-year-old girl in Queensland. Trinity Bates was taken from her Bundaberg home sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning. Her body was found in a drain near her family's house. The man is in custody and is due in court later today. In Sydney, police have charged a man with the murder of a Malaysian consular worker. Mohd Shah Saemin was stabbed and bashed by two men outside his Leichhardt home on Sunday night. A 55-year-old man will appear in court today. Around 2,000 clients of the failed Storm Financial group will be eligible for cash and other concessions. The Commonwealth Bank agreed to a settlement deal after admitting to bad practices in lending to Storm clients. But the Storm Investors Consumer Action Group says the offer won't be enough for some clients. And Australia's first nuclear waste dump is likely to be sited in the Northern Territory on a piece of remote Aboriginal land. The Federal Government has revealed Muckaty Station north of Tennant Creek, as the location it'll pursue for a national radioactive waste repository.
