Taking a look at the satellite image first, and cloud near a low in the southwest is bringing some isolated showers. There’ll also be a few showers over the north of Western Australia where a high cloud meets a trough.
Queensland can expect a fine day after widespread early frosts. There'll be scattered showers near the tropical coast which will move inland in the afternoon.
A fine day for New South Wales as well, apart from isolated showers above the central and north coasts. It will be a cold morning with inland fog patches.
Victoria can expect a cool to cold and partly cloudy day. Isolated coastal showers will clear later on.
A very cold day for Tasmania with morning fog patches, isolated showers above the western Far South will extend to Bass Strait later.
In South Australia, the chance of isolated showers over the Nullarbor Plain in the evening. Otherwise, it should be a fine and cool day.
Western Australia will see scattered showers over the southeast. They'll contract to the coast in the evening. There is the chance of some early thunderstorms along the eastern south coast.
A fine day for the Northern Territory. A cool in the south. There will be isolated showers above the northeast coast. And patchy light rain will develop along the western border later on.
There is a chance of showers in Sydney and Adelaide. But the other capitals should have a fine start to the working week.
