Cloud is stretching from the northwest into the east in a trough, bringing rain and storms over Queensland. More cloud is spreading over southern Victoria and Tasmania ahead of a front which is producing some showers. Taking a look at tomorrow's forecast. In Queensland, scattered showers and isolated storms are expected over the northwest and southeast of the state. There will be patchy rain over the eastern districts and the Cape York Peninsula. New South Wales can expect isolated rain and thunderstorms over the northeastern region. But it will be mostly sunny elsewhere with light winds along the coast. Over in Victoria, it’ll be partly cloudy with isolated showers in the southwest. Fine in the north with cool to mild northwesterly winds. There will be rain across western Tasmania with showers developing above the west and north regions. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. In South Australia, expect isolated showers over the southern agricultural area contracting to the lower southeast coast. Across to Western Australia now, there will be isolated afternoon rain over the northern Kimberley region. But it’ll be mostly sunny and fine for the remainder of the state. A fine day in theTerritoryapart from isolated showers above the north and east coasts. Looking ahead to Monday now. In the major capitals, cloudy in Canberra, Sydney and Perth, rain in Brisbane, Darwin and Melbourne. Showers in Hobart with a top of 15 degrees. |
