Around the states now, Queensland  can expect areas of rain and thunderstorms in a band extending from the tropical coast into the central interior. Isolated showers about the northern coast of New South Wales, afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms developing in the far southeast. Isolated showers in Victoria are expected during the morning. Showers and thunderstorms are predicted about the eastern ranges later in the day. 

 

Morning showers also for Tasmania in the state's southeast, south and east. Isolated falls developing above the north and central plateau during the afternoon. In South Australia, isolated showers and thunderstorms over the northeastern pastoral region. Thundery showers in the western agricultural district. 

 

In Western Australia, isolated storms are forecast for the state's southwest. Some showers are expected in the Kimberly and Pilbara regions. And in the Northern Territory, a mostly sunny day apart from isolated afternoon showers, storms across the top end and the gulf country.
