BEIJING, Aug. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- American actor-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger will give a speech in Los Angles Thursday to indicate he is planning to return to the public stage, according to media reports. He will appeare before a business group at a downtown hotel. This will be his first public speech in California after admitting that he fathered an out-of-wedlock child with his housekeeper Mildred Patricia Baena.
Moreover, Schwarzenegger begins to tweet again and announces that he will play a border town sheriff in the Lionsgate film "Last Stand."
However, his reputation and image have been seriously damaged since his out-of-wedlock affairs was disclosed and he confirmed that he will reject his wife Maria Shriver’s request for spousal support.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver were married for 25 years, and have two sons, Patrick,17, Christopher, 13.
Schwarzenegger was once a hugely popular actor and model. He was the 38th Governor of California, was re-elected on Nov. 7, 2006 and stepped down on Jan. 1, 2011. |
