He spoke in Hampton, Virginia today, telling a military base that Congress needs to approve separate tax credits for companies that hire vets. 2. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is in Afghanistan on an unannounced visit. She is there to encourage the government to continue with its Taliban reconciliation efforts.
3. Authorities in Ohio have been spending the day trying to round up lions, tigers and other exotic animals that were set loose. They say the owner of the animals opened their cages and then took his own life.
4. Lindsay Lohan is back in trouble with the law. She was handcuffed and escorted out of court today after a judge in LA revoked her probation following her ousting from a community service assignment at a women shelter. |
