Klose back for Germany after injury(在线收听) |
BERLIN, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Miroslav Klose returned on Saturday to the German squad for Tuesday's friendly match against the Netherlands after missing the friendly with Ukraine because of an inflamed tendon in his left knee. The 33-year-old could be paired up front with Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez in what would be an experiment by coach Joachim Loew.
Loew usually prefers to start with one striker up front.
Loew also welcomed back goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and midfielder Marco Reus, who both sat out the 3-3 draw with the Euro 2012 co-hosts, the former being rested and the latter because of flu. |
