Airbus is now echoing earlier analysis from chief rival Boeing, saying China is expected to become the world's second largest aviation market by 2030 behind the United States. The plane maker is predicting the Asia-Pacific region will account for nearly 35 of the world's air service demand in the next two decades. Country-wise, Airbus says China, the US and Germany are set to generate the greatest demand.
