Thick cloud is spreading across much of eastern Australia. It's in a trough and is triggering showers and potentially severe storms. The storm is particularly affecting northern New South Wales and southeast Queensland. Cloud about the Top End is causing scattered storms, mostly clear elsewhere. And taking a look at the states.
