Obama was meeting in Washington with prime minister Nuri al-Maliki. 2. Wall Street protesters go to major ports on the west coastal, trying to block gates. In Oakland, shipping companies and longshoremen's union sent 150 workers home, essentially halting operations there.
3. Supreme Court will rule on Arizona's law targeting illegal immigrants. One requirement says police have to question a person's immigration's status if they suspect that person is in the country illegal.
4. In Scotland, giant pandas just off the plane from China ventured outside for the first time. The pair of eight-year-old is drawing a crowd to the Edinburgh Zoo. They are expected to remain here for ten years. |
