2. A two-and-a-half-hour funeral procession for North Korean leader Kim Jong Il has ended with a 21-gun salute. The hearse passed in front of tens of thousands who wailed in grief.

 

 

 

3. Nebraska Democrat Ben Nelson says he has decided to leave the US Senate after 2012. His departure is expected to make it easier for Republicans to win the only seat in Nebraska's congressional delegation that hasn't already gone to the GOP.

 

 

 

4. This crocodile in Australia clearly did not want the grass cut at its enclosure. It ripped the piece of equipment out of the hands of a handler and submerged it in water. Crews were later able to get it out.
