3. New York city police have made an arrest in a string of firebomb attacks. One of the attacks was against an Islamic center on New Year's Day. The suspect faces hit crime and arson charges.

 

4. And Egyptians are voting in the final round of parliamentary elections today. The vote is expected to get Islamists parties take control of the parliament. Many pro-democracy activists say they are worried about the Islamists and military holding on the power together, and putting off pro-democracy reforms.
