Hi,everyone.I am Natisha Lance sitting in for Carl Azuz today. We hope that you enjoyed the long weekend and you are ready for a new week of headlines from CNN Students News.

First up.International inspectors are looking Iran's controversial nuclear program.Representative from the IAEA, the International Atomic Energy Agency are in Iran right now.Now they are responsible for making sure that the countries aren't secretly developing nuclear weapons but that was some countries accused Iran of doing but the middle east nation says its nuclear program only has peaceful purpose. The country of Israel if Iran does have nuclear weapons then Israel will consider that as a direst threat against itself.Israel government has also indicated that it's considering an attack against Iran nuclear facilities.US officials say that they understand Israel's concerns but they advice against any kind of attack, saying that could make the situation worse.

In Washington DC,authorities say they have stopped the planed tear attack. They have been watching the suspect for a while as part of a long-term investigation. He was arrested Friday at this parking garage here and allegedly went there to get what he thought was the bast with explosives. The people he met with were actually long enforcement officers. Now the suspect has been charged with attempts to bomb the US capital building in an suicide attack.

Here's what we know about him. He's 29 years old and from Morocco.Authorities say he was acting along and wasn't connected to any terrorist organization they also said that the public was never in any danger.

Just facts. An avalanche were first to a collection of material that moves quickly down slope.Avalanches kill about 150 people in north America and Europe every year. There are different kinds of avalanches, including rocks, ice, debris and snow.Snow avalanches can be trigger by certain weather conditions, skiers or explosive blast.

Part of the reason why avalanche are so dangerous is that they can pick up speed pretty quickly.Sometimes that snow are rushing down the hill at 80 miles per hour. Now a dozen of people were caught in avalanche in Washington stay ovre the weekend, three of them were killed.Elizabeth Dinh of affiliate KOMO has the details for us on what happened.

Here's what I can tell you.We understand that 12 very experienced skiers were in an area that is way back there when this avalanche happened. And unfortunately, the three men who did not make it,we are learning now they are aged of 30,30 and 45.And taking a look at this video,we understanding that the four out of that twelve that caught up in the worst of that and this avalanche took them down 1500 feet, according to the King County Sheriff office, that included the three men I have mentioned as well as one women. We understand she survived because she has a special jacket. It's like avalanche-safety jacket if you think what you would wear in water like life jacket. This jacket and avalanche can puffy up with air as did for her and give her a pock of air which official say helped her survive.Right after this happened, the other eight in this figure of the twelve were able to dig themselves pretty quickly and they got their cell phones and called for help but they realized the other four were still underneath all the snow.

They are skiing when the avalanche happens,at this points, almost all of them are probably up to 12,at some point are buried in the snow. They managed to dig themselves out of snow.At that point, they looked and found three of the skiers were suffering from medical  issues, they began CPR and unfortunately they wer not able to resuscitate the victims.

And officials tell me that these experienced skiers were in an area that was blocked off.It' not an area that closed off,it's just a lot of people can see this back country, skiing so it's area that basically you would ski on your own risk. They tell me that these skiers had all the right gear, and this is unfortunately, just mother nature, and just unfortunate the condition they got bad
