1. Rescue crews are continuing to find victims of Friday's severe weather. Dozens from Indiana to Georgia were killed. The tornadoes destroyed homes, businesses and tossed around cars and buses. 2. BP has agreed to a 7.8-billion dollar settlement of law suits filed by 100,000 victims of the 2010 Gulf oil spill. Analysts say they now expect BP to move quickly to settle the rest of the claims against it.
3. Italy has held its first criminal hearing into the Costa Concordia's shipwreck. The judge in the case assigned experts to analyze the ship's data recorder. A process, that's expected to last into the summer.
4. Prince Harry has kicked off his visit to Belize with rum and dancing. Harry is in Belize as part of a Diamond Jubilee tour in honor of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who is celebrating 60 years on the throne. |
