This is Scientific American's Sixty Second Science. I am Marryia Decrisdina, got the minute. First Youtube Space Lab contest has anounced its winners, young people entry by creating a short vedio of their idea for experiments to be down in space. I was judge. One of the two winners eighteen-year-old Mohammed Vijept told me about his idea to have jumping spider hunt their prey in the orbit. So I was ready in a article about the animals' televedio space and they were the old wavers. I saw that not all the spiders hunt to same way. These game's idea to suggest jumping spiders, they can not only just rejectring here in the earth to, to compensate for gravity. So, well, they can realized that, well, they don't have to compensate for gravity any more. I got his idea made his vedio in just one day, his experiment will actually be done on the international space station. And that's come to be the first time history for an animal to change its wave frounty to zero gravity evironments. Varies changing I saw and I really enjoyed the idea that was very surprised us. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the minute for Scitenfic American's Sixty Second Science. I am Marryia Decrisdina |
