It started as the decoration day. During the Civil War, the deadliest conflict in the history, Americans would decorate the graves of the troops who died in battle. The holiday became Memorial Day after WW I in honor of fallen servicemen. And that’s what distinguish it from veteran’s day, while that occasion, honors everyone who’s ever served to the US Arms Forces, Memorial Day honors everyone who is died in US wars. This unifying theme is symbolized as the tombs of the unknowns in the Arlington National Cemetery. It was originally known as the tomb of the unknown soldiers who died in WW I. But in 1958, unknown troops from WW II and the Carrier War were also interred there. You’ll see the ceremony of reframe at the tomb every Memorial Day. You’ll also see flags and hear suffuses across the nation. Unofficially, Memorial Day signals the beginning of the summer, which in a way, also makes it attribute to life.

 

Take characters to serve the US Arm Forces, and head it in this Memorial Day weekend, we ask how you will define character. Well in the sense, character is who you are and what you do when no one is watching. A A’s saying it’s the type of person you really are which is showing through your actions when you’re by yourself. B defines character as being a role model to others who want to be successful in their lives. S believes character is who you are, doesn’t matter where you come from, or what your surroundings look like. J feels it as how you act when you have to make a difficult decision. J R: character is what defines you as a person, our football team has a motto, ability may get you to the top, but character is what keeps you there. V defines character as something that a person has that proves that they can be responsible and that they can be trusted. And to Nicholas, character is who you are in the inside; it’s not who you pretend to be, or who you become so that others would like you.

It doesn’t seem much like a party, but they are not done yet. Once the hotdogs hit the ground, people then run in, trying to scoop up as many as they could. The winner gets 1000 bucks and a lifetime supply of, guess what, at least one person decided to feed part of what you pick up to his pup. You know what they say, it’s a *** world.
