He's accused Labor of waging class warfare, and ridiculed the prejected $1.5 billion surplus. He's promised to find savings to cover tax cuts, but hasn't identified just where they would come from. 

 
A candle-lit vigil has been held in a quare in the Syrian capital Damascus for the victims of a double bombing.At least 55 people were killed and nearly 400 wounded in that attack. 
 
The former news of the World Editor Andy Coulson has denied he was employed as the British Prime Minister's Press Secretary because of his links to News International. Mr. Coulson has been giving evidence to the Leveson Inquiry into phone hacking. 
 
Police are investigating the murder of Brisbane mom Allison Baden-Clay last night set up a road block near the family home. Detectives are wanting to hear from anyone who drove along Brookfield Rd at Kenmore on the night she was reported missing. Ms. Baden-Clay's funeral will be held later this morning. 
 
And television audiences watching the weather forecast in Scotland received an unexpected supprise when Prince Charles delivered the report. But his prediction of flurries over Balmoral brought a cool princely delivery to a chilly aside, that's pretty better on that. The Duchess of Cornwall also had a go.
