1. Spain's prime minister says he is expecting 2012 to be a bad year for the economy. The euro zone nation could get a bailout of up to $125 billion for its banks. But the prime minister says Spain will remain in recession and unemployment will probably rise. 2. An Egyptian security official says ousted president Hosni Mubarak has been slipping in and out of consciousness. Mubarak's wife and his two daughters-in-law were allowed to visit him in prison on Sunday, after rumors circulated that he had died.
3. At least three people are dead after a gunman opened fire during a party near Auburn University. Authorities say two of the men who were killed were former Auburn football players. A suspect still at large has been charged with capital murder.
4. Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar is denying allegations that he choked and punched his 15-years-old daughter during an argument. Dollar told his congregation on Sunday that he should never have been arrested and that "all is well" in his household. |
