3. A homeless man whose face was mostly chewed off in a bizarre attack is awake and alert in a Miami hospital. Ronald Poppo was attacked by a naked Rudy Eugene last month. Eugene was killed by a responding police officer.

 

 

 

4. A three-year-old girl has undergone a rare surgery in Africa to give her a new layer of skin. It's a common procedure in the US and Europe, but a rare accomplishment on the African Continent. The child suffered severe burns over 80% of her body after an accident at a family barbecue. Surgeons say she is a fighter.
