2. Colorado firefighters are setting back burns to protect homes. The massive blaze west of Fort Collins has grown by at least three acres. The smoke blowing into southeastern Wyoming. It's burned at least 31 homes, forcing more than 1,300 firefighters to work around the clock.

 

 

 

3. R. Allen Stanford has been sentenced to 110 years in prison for orchestrating one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in US history. Last March, a jury convicted the former Texas billionaire on 13 fraud related counts for taking more than $7 billion from investors.
