1. Canada has been given a seat at the table for the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership. Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced that Canada was asked to join the trade negotiations. It comes after Harper met with President Barack Obama at the G20 summit. 2. More evacuations are possible as fires rage across the west. A fire west of Fort Collins, Colorado already burned nearly 200 homes. The blaze is only about half contained.
3. Jerry Sandusky's attorneys are suggesting that investigators shared details among accusers. The defense says that planted the seeds of the alleged victims' evolving accounts of abuse. The former Penn State assistant football coach denies the sexual abuse charges.
4. And a Florida teenager is recovering after doctors removed a three-foot-long fishing spear to the head. The spear went straight through his skull from front to back. The teen says he isn't in pain, and doesn't even remember the accident. |
