ZEIST, The Netherlands, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- The 19-year-old Vitesse midfielder Marco van Ginkel received his first call-up for the Dutch national team for the friendly against Germany on November 14 in Amsterdam. Van Ginkel was included in a squad of 19 players. Captain Wesley Sneijder was not included, because he has only just recovered from a thigh injury and has not played for Internazionale for six weeks.
Van Gaal left open four extra places in the squad. If Maarten Stekelenburg (AS Roma) and PSV trio Kevin Strootman, Luciano Narsingh and Jeremain Lens proof they are fit this weekend, they will be added to the squad.
