3. Lawyers for Jared Lee Loughner, suspected gunman in the 2011 Tucson mass shooting, are trying to convince a judge that he's competent enough to enter a plea. Loughner's behavior in court during his hearing Tuesday will be watched closely. He allegedly opened fire at an Arizona supermarket, killing six people and wounding former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords along with 13 others.
