A trough over Victoria and Tasmania is bringing showers, heaviest about the coasts. A trough over WA is triggering showers and thunderstorms in the west. Winds are rasing and skies are clearing in South Australia. Looking around the states.
Fine and sunny over most of Queensland, except for some isolated showers over the northern regions of Cape Peninsula.
In New South Wales, isolated showers on and west of the regions, fine and mostly sunny elsewhere.
Victoria can expect scattered showers on and south of the regions, a chance of afternoon shower over the northern inland.
In Tasmania, scattered showers about the west and far south with isolated showers about the southeast and the Bass Strait islands.
In South Australia, there'll be isolated showers on the southern coast and regions. Mostly sunny with southerly winds elsewhere.
Western Australia can expect showers on the southern coast and northern interior. Mostly dry elsewhere, hot in the north.
And it'll be suny throughout the northern territory, apart from morning fall patchies about the Top End coast.
Looking ahead to tomorrow. It will be mostly sunny in Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide. Sunny in Sydney, Perth and Darwin. And showers are clearing in Melbourne and Hobart. |
