Veteran Sydney broadcaster Alan Jones has launched a verbal attack on Julia Gillard, saying her father died of shame because of his daughter's political lies. Mr Alan made the comment during a speech in young liberals' dinner in Sydney last Saturday night, just weeks after Mr Gillard's death. Liberal MP Mark Turnbull has described the comment as cruel and offensive and says the broadcaster should apologize.
