And Turkey has fired artillery against targets in Syria, it's in retaliation for a mortar attack from Syria that killed five Turkish civilians, meanwhile dozens of people have been killed in a series of bombing attacks in Syria's biggest city Aleppo, the blasts levelled buildings in the center of the city. The sexual harassment case against federal parliamentary speaker Peter Slipper will return to court today, nine hours of mediation between Mr.Slipper and his former staff James Ashby. And the federa court failed to resolve the issue. Outside the court, Mr.Ashby's spokesman said he plans to pursue the case against his former boss.
Air crash investigators will return to the site of a fatal plane crashed north of Brisbane today. All six people on board the 1930s vintage bi-plane died. Searchers found the wreckage in rugged bushland near Imbil in the Sushine Coast hinterland late yesterday.
Police have thankfully found a four-year-old boy who went missing from his home at Nambucca Heads on the New South Wales mid-north coast yesterday. Police said they found Riley Martin asleep a short time ago. Paramedics are checking the boy for any injuries.
And four girls at the center of an international custody dispute are on their way back to Italy. The girls left on the flight from Brisbane early this morning. The family court dismissed their application to remain in Australia with their mother. |
