HOUSTON, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Houston Rockets tied a NBA record with 23 3-pointers to rout the Golden State Warriors 140-109 Tuesday night at Toyota Center. The Warriors did everything they could, including intentionally fouling three times in the final minute of a blowout, to prevent the Rockets from setting an NBA record for most threes in a game. The record was initially set by Orlando in January 2009.
Jeremy Lin sank five 3-pointers, a career high, and Chandler Parsons and James Harden hit four each as the Rockets reached a season-high point total.
Lin scored 28 points. James Harden had 18 and Parsons had 16 for the Houston Rockets.
Jarrett Jack scored 20 points and David Lee had 18 for the Warriors, which had a four-game winning streak snapped. |
