A trough is triggering rain and storms over parts of New South Wales, Victoria, South and West Australia and the Northern Territory. Queensland's west and interior will be very hot. While there'll be slightly cooler temperatures in the southeast with isolated showers.
New South Wales can expect to be very hot in the interior and the east. While the south can expect hot weather with a chance of showers and storms in the afternoon.
Victoria should have a cooler day with showers and storms over most of the state.
Tasmania can expect thinner temperatures with showers in the southwest.
South Australia can expect showers and storms in the north. They'll be lower temperatures and dry conditions in the south.
In WA, it should be hot in the north and interior. While strong easterly winds will keep the south cooler.
